DESCRIPTION

We are super excited to launch this classic Hawaiian aloha shirt print, known as “pareo” (pronounced PAR-ay-oo). As early as 1810, this cotton fabric came from Tahiti and left its impressions on many artists and traveled royalty. French painter Paul Gauguin painted many of his primitive lifestyle pieces with women draped in the bold and colorful pareos. It is an iconic pattern in the history of Aloha shirts, and is most commonly red & white or blue & white, so we thought it would be perfect to launch it for the 4th of July holiday!
